Within the framework of the next European Crystallographic Meeting (ECM33), which will be held in Versailles (France), from 23th to 27th August 2022, we are organizing a satellite meeting dedicated to Functional Materials under Pressure, which will be held from 28-30th of August 2022. This meeting will run in parallel with a second satellite meeting on Chirality in Crystals at the VVF Club Intense in Lege-Cap-Férret France. Transportation from Bordeaux (a two hour train ride from Paris) to the resort will be provided.

Three plenary lectures covering both topics - Pressure and Chirality - are planned, to be given by Andrzej Katrusiak (Univ. Poznan, Poland), Simon Parsons (Univ. Edinburgh, Scotland), and Flavia Pop (Univ. Angers, France).

The meeting will focus on structure-property relationships of functional materials under pressure, from inorganic to molecular materials to active pharmaceutical ingredients. Synthesis of new materials under pressure would be also addressed.
